Gold companies shares mixed at the close of trading

Shares of some top gold companies were mixed at the close of trading:

Barrick Gold Corp. fell $.01 or .1 percent, to $12.75.

Gold Fields Ltd ADS rose $.22 or 5.5 percent, to $4.24.

GoldCorp fell $.25 or 1.3 percent, to $19.56.

Newmont Mining Corp. fell $.05 or .2 percent, to $23.52.
