Fresh Ipsos Mori Poll Shows 'remain' At 54% Vs. 46% For 'leave'
The final survey from pollster Ipsos Mori showed 54% of the respondents were in favor of staying in the European Union compared with 46% that wanted to Brexit. That strengthens the lead for the "stay" campaign by 2 points. A survey published earlier on Thursday by Ipsos Mori found that among those most likely to vote - and who say the result is important to them - 52% supported staying in the EU while 48% favored leaving, excluding those who were undecided. Another poll out late Thursday by YouGov also put the "remain" side ahead, with 52% of the 5,000 people asked on polling day preferring to stay in the union.
