Fed's Labor-markets Conditions Index Slows In February
The Federal Reserve's labor-market conditions index slowed to 4 in February from 4.8 in January. The index combines 19 labor market indicators and is designed to give a broader view of jobs-market momentum; the median reading since 1978 is 1.1, and the median reading during this recovery is 4.3. Separately, the Conference Board's employment-trends index edged up to 127.76 from 127.62 in January, which represents a gain of 6.7% from the same month in 2014.
