Orders for goods produced in U.S. factories fell 0.7% in November, hit by transportation equipment, matching the forecast from MarketWatch-polled economists, according to government data released Tuesday. Orders for durable goods -- products meant to last at least three years -- fell 0.9% in November, compared with a prior estimate of a 0.7% decline, the U.S. Commerce Department reported. Orders for nondurable goods fell 0.5%. In October, total factory orders fell 0.7%.
