'FAANG' Stocks Lose $126 Billion In Market Cap In 2 Days

The two-day rout in the technology sector has erased $125.91 billion combined from the market capitalization of the famed "FAANG" stocks: Facebook Inc. , Apple Inc. , Amazon.com Inc. , Netflix Inc. and Google parent Alphabet Inc. . Separately, shares of Facebook lost $6.27, or 4.1%, in two days to see $18.17 billion in market cap disappear. Apple's stock's $9.67, or 6.2%, decline shaved off $50.42 billion in market cap; Amazon's $45.44, or 4.5% drop, took about $21.72 billion off its market cap; Netflix's stock slumped $14.44, or 8.7%, to take $6.22 billion of its market cap; and Alphabet's $42.47, or 4.2%, selloff washed away $29.38 billion in market cap. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite has shed 2.3% over the past two sessions while the S&P 500 has inched 0.2% lower.
