Ex-rap Star Vanilla Ice Arrested For Burglary, Reports Say

Vanilla Ice, the 1990s rapper whose real name is Robert Matthew Van Winkle, was arrested Wednesday in Palm Beach, Fla., on suspicion of burglary, reports said. Van Winkle is believed to have carried off furniture and other items from a foreclosed property in a Miami suburb, NBC News reported. He had been working next door to the home in question, filming his DIY Network reality show called "The Vanilla Ice Project," in which he renovates area homes, the report said. Local police have recovered the allegedly stolen items, according to a separate report by TMZ.
