Enzi To Lead Senate Budget Committee Next Year

Sen. Mike Enzi, a Wyoming Republican, will lead the Senate Budget Committee next year, following an agreement with Sen. Jeff Sessions. "I am deferring to his seniority so that he can lead the budget committee as its chairman beginning in 2015," said Sessions, an Alabama Republican. Enzi, an accountant by training, said shortly after the midterm elections he would challenge Sessions for the committee's gavel.
