2. Target (NYSE:TGT)

Target's (NYSE:TGT) quarterly profits dropped sharply as the retailer struggled through a massive data breach. However, the results still topped estimates and the shares are up in volatile trading.

3. First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR)

First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR) revealed weaker-than-expected quarterly profits, and posted a disappointing current-quarter outlook on bumpy sales from solar projects. The shares are taking a beating, recently falling 13%.

4. Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE:ANF)

Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE:ANF) revealed earnings and sales that topped Wall Street's views as the teen retailer benefited from higher demand due to discounts. The shares are rallying 6%.

5. Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA)

Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) shares raced higher for the second day, following a call by Morgan Stanley that the electric car company has the potential to disrupt other markets beyond the auto industry.
