Dow Components Broadly Higher In Premarket Trade

The SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF gained 0.3% in premarket trade Friday, as a better-than-expected November jobs report has sent blue chips stocks mostly higher ahead of the open. That percentage gain would represent a rise of about 54 points for the cash index. Of the Dow's 30 components, 20 of the 26 stocks seeing early activity are rising, led by the 0.8% gain in the shares of J.P. Morgan Chase . Among other more-active Dow components, Microsoft shares tacked on 0.2% and General Electric's stock gained 0.5%, while Verizon Communication's stock was unchanged.
