Dollar Slips After Flurry Of Data
The U.S. dollar weakened against its main rivals Thursday as traders determined that a flurry of economic data -- including a highly anticipated May retail-sales report -- provided no further evidence of a springtime rebound for the U.S. economy. The euro strengthened to $1.1265, from $1.1210 before the data.
