Discover Shares Up Slightly As Earnings Beat, Revenue Misses

Discover Financial Services Inc. shares rose slightly late Tuesday after the credit-card issuer beat earnings estimates but fell short on revenue. The company reported third-quarter earnings of $1.38 a share on revenue of $2.19 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had expected $1.33 a share on revenue of $2.21 billion.
