1. Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL)


Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL) posted quarterly profits that missed expectations on the top and bottom lines after the closing bell on Tuesday. Shares of the software giant are down more than 3%.

2. Horizon Pharma (NASDAQ:HZNP)


Horizon Pharma (NASDAQ:HZNP) shares are surging more than 20% after the biotech company revealed plans to buy Ireland-based Vidara Therapeutics International. The move will expand Horizon's product pipeline and help the firm benefit from Ireland's low corporate tax rates.

3. FedEx (NYSE:FDX)


FedEx (NYSE:FDX) revealed quarterly results that widely missed Wall Street's estimates. The shipping giant said "unusually severe winter storms … disrupted operations" and weighed on shipping volumes. The shares are modestly lower in somewhat volatile action.

4. Toyota Motors (NYSE:TM)


Toyota (NYSE:TM) is reportedly set to settle charges from the U.S. government stemming from an acceleration issue on a subset of its vehicles for $1 billion.

5. Adobe Systems (NASDAQ:ADBE)


Adobe Systems (NASDAQ:ADBE) posted a solid quarterly beat. Shares of the maker of creative software like Photoshop are climbing about 1%.
