DexCom Shares Jump Nearly 4% On Tim Cook's Comments On Glucose Monitors At Apple Event
Shares of DexCom Inc. surged 3.7% Monday, after Apple Inc. Chief Executive Tim Cook said the Apple Watch will be able to better connect with other hardware gadgets, such as continuous glucose monitors, via Bluetooth. San Diego-based DexCom makes and sells continuous glucose monitoring systems for ambulatory use by people with diabetes. Shares have gained 17% in 2017, while the S&P 500 has gained about 9%.
