Department Store Retail companies shares down at the close of trading

Shares of some top department store retail companies were down at the close of trading:

Kohl's Corp. fell $1.68 or 2.3 percent, to $72.91.

Macy's Inc. fell $1.05 or 1.6 percent, to $65.94.

Nordstrom fell $1.04 or 1.3 percent, to $77.12.

J.C. Penney Co. fell $.09 or 1.1 percent, to $8.32.

Sears Holdings Corp. fell $1.66 or 4.0 percent, to $39.47.

TJX Companies fell $.98 or 1.5 percent, to $65.31.
