Nordstrom fell $.80 or 1.0 percent, to $77.70.

J.C. Penney Co. fell $.08 or .9 percent, to $8.61.

Sears Holdings Corp. fell $.26 or .6 percent, to $43.37.

TJX Companies fell $.98 or 1.5 percent, to $65.50.
