Delta passengers can't check in because of problem with website, mobile app and kiosks
NEW YORK – Passengers on Delta Air Lines Monday afternoon are unable to check in for their flights because of a malfunction with the airline's website, mobile app and airport kiosks.
Travelers from different parts of the country are complaining about the problem on Twitter. The Atlanta-based airline is not immediately saying how widespread the outage is.
The computer problems come on a day with massive flight delays and cancelations in New York and Boston due to a winter storm.
Tracking site FlightAware says Delta canceled 200 of its mainline flights Monday and hundreds of others belonging to regional airlines flying under its name.
