Dallas Fed Names Former Goldman Sachs Vice Chair Robert Kaplan As President
WASHINGTON – The Dallas Fed on Monday said it's picked Robert Kaplan to be its new president, replacing Richard Fisher, who retired in March. Kaplan is currently a professor at Harvard Business School and previously was vice chairman of Goldman Sachs until 2006. Kaplan serves on the boards of State Street, Harvard Management Company and Heidrick & Struggles International. Kaplan will start on Sept. 8.
