CVS Health Introduces CVS Pay

CVS Health Corp. has launched CVS Pay on its mobile app, which integrates payment, prescription pickup and loyalty program information, the company said Thursday. CVS Pay is available in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware, with a nationwide rollout expected later this year. It works with all major credit cards and on iOS and Android devices. To use the service, customers add a debit or credit card into the CVS Pharmacy app and present the bar code or share a pickup number to a store associate at checkout. CVS shares are up 0.3% in Thursday premarket trading, but down 10.2% for the last year. The S&P 500 Index is up 4.4% for the past 12 months.
