Constellation, maker of Corona beer, says CFO Ryder stepped down; will leave company in July

Constellation Brands said Monday that Bob Ryder stepped down from the chief financial officer position last week and plans to leave the alcoholic beverage maker next month.

He has been replaced by David Klein, who was a finance executive for the company's beer business. The change happened last Thursday, Constellation said.

Ryder, 55, said he is leaving the company to "seek new challenges and explore external opportunities." He has been CFO since 2007. Klein, 51, has worked at Constellation since 2004.

The company's brands include Corona Extra beer, Svedka vodka and Robert Mondavi wine.

Shares of Constellation Brands Inc., based in Victor, New York, fell $3.16, or 2.6 percent, to $117.36 in midday trading Monday.
