Company converts 3 motels in Seaside Heights under national brand names

Visitors who are dreaming of summer at the Jersey shore will find three motels Seaside Heights have been rebranded under national chains.

Toms River-based J & Co. Hotels bought, renovated and rebranded the properties following Superstorm Sandy.

Operations manager Rex Jariwala tells the Asbury Park Press (http://on.app.com/1wvO5rn ) one of the big benefits of a recovery is there is going to be more economic activity. He says the company wanted to bring the brands to Seaside to show people they can bring their families for a vacation.

The Cranbury Inn has become a Days Inn, The Hotel Charlee is an Econo Lodge and The Seaport Motel has become a Motel 6.

Seaside's acting business administrator Christopher Vaz says the impact will depend on how well the motels treat their guests.
