Columbia Sportswear Shares Jump After Earnings Beat

Columbia Sportswear Co. shares jumped in the extended session Thursday after the outdoor apparel and accessories company topped Wall Street estimates for the quarter and raised its outlook. Columbia shares popped 15% to $62. The company reported third-quarter earnings of $1.28 a share on revenue of $767.6 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated $1.09 a share on revenue of $738.7 million. Columbia said it expects full-year earnings of $2.32 to $2.37 a share on revenue of more than $2.3 billion. Analysts had forecast $2.35 a share on revenue of $2.34 billion.
