Coca-Cola Names Long-time Exec James Quincey COO And President
The Coca-Cola Company on Thursday said that James Quincey will be the company's new chief operating officer and president effective immediately. Quincey has been with Coca-Cola for 19 years, serving as president of the company's Europe group since 2013. Quincey was instrumental in leading the recently proposed merger to form Coca-Cola European Partners Plc, in what would be the world's largest independent Coca-Cola bottler based on net revenues, according to a statement. Quincey will now oversee the company's Global Operations.
