Coal companies shares up at the close of trading

Shares of some top coal companies were up at the close of trading:

Arch Coal rose $.02 or 2.0 percent, to $1.02.

Consol Energy Inc. rose $.53 or 1.8 percent, to $30.02.

Peabody Energy rose $.06 or 1.2 percent, to $4.87.
