Coal companies shares down at the close of trading

Shares of some top coal companies were down at the close of trading:

Arch Coal fell $.03 or 2.9 percent, to $1.00.

Consol Energy Inc. fell $.32 or 1.1 percent, to $29.88.

Peabody Energy fell $.14 or 3.1 percent, to $4.35.
