Claman on Call: Markets Log Record Start to March

It was an incredible start to the month for U.S. stocks: The tech-heavy Nasdaq closed above 5000 for the first time since March of 2000. Not to be outdone, the S&P 500 notched its fifth record close of the year --  64 stocks in the S&P closed in record territory, including 29 consumer names. The Dow and the Russell 2000 closed above record highs Monday as well.
