Claman on Call: Early Christmas for Stocks
Call it a Santa Claus Rally -- stocks surged to new highs on Tuesday with the Dow hitting its 32nd record close of the year. Energy was the top performing sector for a second day straight.
It was a November to remember for automakers. Overall, the industry saw its best November sales in more than a decade. Leading the way was Fiat-Chrysler, which saw a 20% year-over-year rise in sales. And how about this stunner: One of its best performing brands, Jeep, was up over 25%. Mark Allen, Chrysler head of Jeep design, told FBN what the inspiration behind the new Cherokee design is, and why local Jeep customers are loving it.
Now, here's what's coming up tomorrow: We'll get the ADP private sector employment numbers for the month of November at 8:15 a.m. ET. Then we'll get the Fed's latest reading of economic conditions, the Beige Book, out at 2 p.m. ET. We'll also hear from two Fed officials, Dallas Fed President Richard Fisher and Philadelphia Fed Chief Charles Plosser.
Be sure to check out all of today's interviews on FOXBusiness.com/OnCall and tune into Countdown to the Closing Bell every week day at 3 p.m. ET.
