Citigroup Probed Over Mexico Unit and Other #Stocks2Watch

1. Citigroup (NYSE:C)


Citigroup (NYSE:C) said in a regulatory filing two federal agencies are probing the No. 3 U.S. bank by assets after it revealed last week fraud in its Mexico subsidiary. The New York-based company also said it is monitoring the unfolding situation in Ukraine, and plans to contiue mitigating its exposure to the troubled region, according to a report by Dow Jones Newswires.

2. Jos. A. Bank (NASDAQ:JOSB) | Men's Wearhouse (NYSE:MW)


Jos. A. Bank (NASDAQ:JOSB) and Men's Wearhouse (NYSE:MW) appeared to inch closer to an agreement after months of hostilities as the two men's clothing companies signed a non-disclosure agreement and have drafted a merger pact.

3. Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL)


Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) unveiled plans to bring its iPhone into vehicles through a new service called CarPlay. The tech giant's CFO, Peter Oppenheimer, will also join Goldman Sach's (NYSE:GS) board of directors.

4. U.S. Automakers (NYSE:F) (NYSE:GM)


Ford (NYSE:F), General Motors (NYSE:GM) and Fiat's (NYSE:FIATY) Chrysler report monthly sales figures on the day. Thus far, Chrysler has said its sales jumped 11% on a year-to-year basis in its best February since 2007.

5. Berkshire Hathaway


Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway posted record quarterly profits over the weekend. Buffett, known as the Oracle of Omaha, said he will continue pursuing large acquisitions.
