Citi hires Trip Wolfe as venture capital banker: memo

Wolfe joins Citi from Union Square Advisors where he ran the firm's venture capital and private equity sponsor coverage. Prior to joining Union Square Advisors, he worked at Bank of America, Jefferies & Company and Deutsche Bank.

Wolfe will take a newly created role within Citigroup to help boost client relationships in the venture capital and related private equity communities, according to the memo. Citigroup spokesman was not immediately available for comment.
