Children ask for hugs during annual question-and-answer session with Michelle Obama
The top question put to Michelle Obama during a question-and-answer session with the children of White House employees was "Can I have a hug?"
It started Wednesday when a girl asked for the first lady's age. Hearing that she is 51, the girl then told Mrs. Obama she looks too young to be 51.
A grinning Mrs. Obama then motioned for the girl to come get a hug.
Two other girls the first lady called on asked for, and received hugs.
But she declined a request from a fourth girl, saying she didn't have time to hug everyone although she'd like to.
The children, including some from the Boys and Girls Club and Washington's child welfare agency, were participating in the annual Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.
