Chesapeake Energy Corp. had its best day in six months Tuesday as its shares surged 10% to lead the S&P 500. Goldman Sachs last week said the natural gas and oil producer has the potential to rise 43.2% from its current level. Shares of Chesapeake added $1.04 a share to close at $11.46 but are down 41% for the year. [Updated to fix year-to-date percentage change.]
