CalAmp Shares Rise After Earnings Top Street Estimates

CalAmp Corp. shares rose in the extended session Thursday after the wireless communications company topped Wall Street estimates for the quarter. CalAmp shares rose 7.2% to $16.78. The company reported adjusted fiscal second-quarter earnings of 27 cents a share on revenue of $69.8 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated 26 cents a share on revenue of $68.1 million. The company forecast fiscal third-quarter earnings of 26 cents to 30 cents, and full-year revenue of $281 million to $289 million. Analysts had estimated adjusted third-quarter earnings of 28 cents a share, and full-year revenue of $283 million.
