Cal-Maine Shares Fall After Earnings, Sales Miss Street Estimates

Cal-Maine Foods Inc. shares fell in the extended session Wednesday after the egg producer fell short of Wall Street estimates for the quarter. Cal-Maine shares declined 4.4% to $47.40. The company reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $2.26 a share on revenue of $546 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated $2.40 a share on revenue of $560.2 million.
