Caesars Entertainment posts 3rd-quarter loss of $908.1 million

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Caesars Entertainment Corp. (CZR) on Monday reported a loss of $908.1 million in its third quarter.

The Las Vegas-based company said it had a loss of $6.29 per share. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs and to account for discontinued operations, came to $3.14 per share, according to Zacks Investment Research.

The casino operator posted revenue of $2.21 billion in the period.

Caesars shares have declined 46 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $11.54, a decrease of 36 percent in the last 12 months.
