Broadcom Revises Revenue Outlook, Hikes Dividend

Broadcom Corp. late Tuesday tightened its fourth-quarter revenue outlook to a range of $2.075 billion to $2.15 billion versus $2 billion to $2.15 billion previously. Analysts surveyed by FactSet are projecting revenue of $1.99 billion on the average. The semiconductor company also hiked its quarterly dividend to 14 cents a share from 12 cents and plans to buy back up to $1 billion in shares in 2015. Broadcom shares rose 1.8% after hours.
