Brent, U.S. Crude Bounce on Report of Saudi Unrest

Brent and U.S. crude prices pared losses and Brent turned positive in volatile trading on Thursday on an Associated Press report that Saudi Arabian police fired on protesters in the kingdom's east.

ICE Brent April crude rose 6 cents to $116 a barrel at 1:40 p.m. EST (1840 GMT), trading from $113.52 to $116.55.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange, April crude <CLJ1> fell 80 cents to $105.18 a barrel, trading from $100.62 to $105.06.
