Brent Oil Over $64, Hits Highest Settlement Of The Year
Oil futures rose on Thursday, with Brent crude climbing above $64 a barrel to hit its highest settlement of the year. Analysts said tensions in the Middle East as well as hopes for stimulus measures in China supported oil. June Brent crude settled at $64.85 a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange, up $2.12, or 3.4%. June crude added $1.58, or 2.8%, to settle at $57.74 a barrel.
