Boston Marathon Bomber Tsarnaev Speaks Before Being Formally Sentenced To Death
Convicted Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev surprised many observers by accepting the opportunity to make a statement during a sentencing hearing Wednesday in Boston. According to an NBC News report, he apologized to the victims and survivors during that courtroom statement. He said he prays to Allah to show mercy to those killed in the 2013 spree and has been impressed by the dignity shown by the victims' families, NBC reported. He was sentenced to death for his role in the attack.
