BMW vehicle sales up 7.6 percent in July on U.S., China

FRANKFURT (Reuters) - German premium carmaker BMW <BMWG.DE> said unit sales rose 7.6 percent in July, driven by growth in demand from the United States and China.

July sales of its BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce brands rose to 129,094 vehicles it said on Monday.

In the U.S., the company delivered 21,409 vehicles in July, 11.7 percent more than a year earlier. Growth in China was 36.1 percent with 18,858 cars sold.
