BMW vehicle sales up 7.6 percent in July on U.S., China


FRANKFURT (Reuters) - German premium carmaker BMW said unit sales rose 7.6 percent in July, driven by growth in demand from the United States and China.

July sales of its BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce brands rose to 129,094 vehicles it said on Monday.

In the U.S., the company delivered 21,409 vehicles in July, 11.7 percent more than a year earlier. Growth in China was 36.1 percent with 18,858 cars sold.
