Bitcoin Price Spikes After NYSE Trading Was Halted

It quickly shot up to a session high of $272.26 before trimming its gains slightly. The exchange has said that trading was halted because of a technical glitch. It has yet to resume. Bitcoin was up slightly on the day ahead of the halt. It was last up 1.9% on the day.
