'Birdman,' 'Imitation Game' Win Oscars For Screenplays

"Birdman," the quirky tale of a Hollywood action hero who tries to produce a Broadway play, won the Oscar for best original screenplay at Sunday's Academy Awards in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, "The Imitation Game" took top honors for best adapted script. "Birdman" is a product of 21st Century Fox Inc.'s Fox Searchlight unit. "Imitation Game" was distributed by the privately held Weinstein Co.
