Big-box Retail companies shares up at the close of trading

Shares of some top big-box retail companies were up at the close of trading:

Costco Wholesale Corp. rose $1.74 or 1.2 percent, to $146.31.

Target rose $.91 or 1.1 percent, to $80.93.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. rose $.26 or .3 percent, to $78.14.
