Shares of some top big-box retail companies are mixed at 1 p.m.:

Costco Wholesale Corp. fell $.25 or .2 percent, to $116.10.

Target rose $.26 or .4 percent, to $59.77.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. rose $.17 or .2 percent, to $75.92.
