Belden Buying Tripwire For $710 Million In Cash

Belden Inc. said Tuesday it's buying Tripwire for $710 million in cash. The deal is expected to boost adjusted income from continuing operations by 65 cents per diluted share in 2015, the company said. The acquisition "positions Belden as a leader in helping customers deploy and secure the 'Internet of Things," according to a press release announcing the transaction.
