The Bank of Canada canceled a press conference on its monetary policy report "in light of this morning's incident in downtown Ottawa," the bank said on Twitter. Earlier Wednesday, a soldier was shot at the National War Memorial in Ottawa and the gunman was reportedly on the loose in the Canadian capital.
