AT&T partnering with iHeartMedia to offer streaming radio service to digital TV subscribers
AT&T Inc. is offering iHeartMedia Inc.'s digital music and streaming radio service to its digital television customers.
The telecommunications company partnered with the media company to offer iHeartRadio, an all-in-one digital music and streaming radio service, for U-verse TV customers. It marks the first live streaming radio application available on U-verse TV, AT&T said.
The option allows subscribers to search for and listen to live radio stations from across the country. The companies said they plan to add additional features to the app later this year that will help personalize the product.
