Armed Man Arrested After Injuring 20 To 50 People In German Cinema Complex -- Media Reports

A masked man with a gun and an ammunition belt, who opened fire in a cinema complex Thursday in the German town of Viernheim, south of Frankfurt, has been arrested, according to German media reports. The man injured between 20 and 50 people and barricaded himself inside the complex before police arrested him, according to German newspaper the Darmstaedter Echo. The daily Bild said that an elite police force from Frankfurt was headed toward the cinema complex, which is housed in the Rhein-Neckar-Zentrum mall.
