Apple's IPhone Sales Represent 69% Of Total Sales

Apple reliance on iPhones sales continue to increase, as revenue from the flagship smartphone -- $51.182 billion -- now represents 68.6% of the total revenue of $74.599 billion for the fiscal first quarter. That's up from 55.8% for fiscal 2014. The percentage of total revenue from the iPad fell to 12% from 16.6% in fiscal 2014, while the percentage of Mac sales dropped to 9.3% from 13.2%. Apple didn't break out iPod sales, which represented 1.3% of sales in fiscal 2014. Apple's stock rose 5% in after-hours trade.
