Apple Starts Its First Day In The Dow As One Of a Handful Of Gainers

Apple Inc.'s stock is starting its first day in the Dow Jones Industrial Average as one of the five components that is gaining ground in morning trade. The stock was up 25 cents, or 0.2%, meaning it added about 1.7 points to the Dow, which was down 91 points.
