Apple Inc's Electric Car -- All the Rumors We Know

Evidence is mounting that Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) is working on its own electric car. Or, at least, it's working on something in the automotive world that it very much wants to keep under wraps.

I've been skeptical that Apple will release its own branded vehicle for some time and while I haven't completely been convinced yet, there is some very compelling evidence. According to The Guardian, AppleInsider, and the The Wall Street Journal, Apple has a shell company set up to handle development on the car, recently spoke with the California Division of Motor Vehicles about testing project "Titan" on the road, and could ship the car as early as 2019.
