Apple Among Gainers As Tech Stocks Rise

Many leading tech stocks started the week on an upbeat note Monday, and added to the sector's gains from the prior week. Apple was among the advancers, rising 80 cents a share a new high of $108.80. Other gains came form Groupon Inc. , Alibaba Group and Microsoft Corp. . The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index rose 6 points to 4,636 and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index was also in positive territory.
